As I said, we couldn't figure out where he contracted white line until the thought hit me this morning: it came off a farrier's tool. I don't believe I've ever seen a farrier disinfect his rasps, nippers, etc between horses. Had to bite the bullet and change farriers with Aly - feel present chap could be doing a bit better for Pom but he's close to retiring and fear a new one could be worse!
